Nick,
No problem brother.
Dumb bells are a good sub for Kettlebells if you have any. You can also take 1 gallon milk jugs and fill them with sand. Put duct tape around them because they will break open and you will have a beach in your garage or where ever you are training. Good luck.
No more Markees !!!!!! I suggest that when this Friedman person comes back to the gym he does 25 markees times all the days we had to !!!!
If Mark DOES show up, I’m kicking his ass.
sorry im out of commision for a while i really hurt my back bad on those deadlifts…im seeing a chiropracter today and i went yesterday too hopefully will heal up soon..
Nick,
Where are you located? Also be very careful with dead lifts. Once you round your back youre screwed.
Okay, enough death mail to Mark F. He came in tonight to advise that he has been very sick. I am gonna give him a pass.
Oh yeah, no more love letter Mike G.

Im in Illinois trying to truck out workouts in my garage. Yeah i learned the hard way i think i strained both my left and right lower back and it goes down to my glutes a little. Ive done stim and gotten adjusted 2 days in a row but im going back monday for more and im also icing as much as possible.. ill be more careful next time. Ill make sure to do lower weight and have good form.
I was taught how to Dead Lift by Coach Rippetoe during the Barbell Cert. You should try to by his book Starting Strength. You can get it cheap on Amazon. I stress it again – try to get that book.
When you do a dead lift you need to make sure your knees dont go forward. Keep your chin down and chest up squeezing your shoulder blades together causing your back to tighten up and preventing the rounding of the back. The bar path should be under your scapula then entire lift. Dont focus on pulling the weight up – focus on pushing your feet through the floor keeping the weight on the center of your foot which is where you tie your shoe laces.
Get the book!!!!!
Steve,
Didn’t know you got so jealous when I write my love letters that are not addressed directly to you. Ahh…. your a sensitive little homo. lol!
Mike G,
It wasnt a love letter to me or Mark. It was a love letter for Burpees!!!!!!!

I was reading through some of your content on this website and I believe this web site is really informative ! Retain putting up.
YouTube is world’s leading video sharing web site, no one can defeat it. Every one upload movies at YouTube then get embed code and post anywhere.
By any chance, do you mind sharing what website software that you’re using? I’ve been working on my own blog lately but I’m having a tough time choosing between WordPress/BlogEngine/B2evolution and Drupal to go with. The reason I ask is because your layout is different then the majority of sites and I’m going for something completely unique. Thanks a ton!
